Right, I've seen a couple of replays but it is still not immediately obvious what has happened. Chris Herd does tangle with Jonas Olsson as the run in for Chris Brunt's (blocked) free-kick but it is never a red card, not in a million years, even when they tangle as theyget up afterwards. It's a pretty soft penalty too, so perhaps justice is done when Chris Brunt steps up to wildly blast his spot-kick well wide of goal. Think Chris Waddle in Italia 90, but worse.
