There were about 5000 left a couple of days ago. I know this because I counted the unsold seat for each block on the seat finder thing. As Roy Castle said... Dedications what you need.... If you wanna be a record breakerrrr..... YEEEAAAAH.

if you were that dedicated you'd be providing us with the exact number of seats available on the day that you counted with a date and time reference. I'm disappoint.

Start of Half Term and a Birmingham weekend with all the trimmings: my brother and I to the match, wife and sister-in-law going shopping in town, rendezvous back at sister-in-law's nan's house in Erdington before hopefully celebrating three points with a balti in Sparkbrook.

I expect a nervy, scrappy affair.  2-1 to us.  We'll go two up, concede with about 15 minutes to go and then endure a fraught finale.

This isn't a pop at tour resident European Cup winner above, but it is strange how the "I don't care about Albion" card is played all the time  - that is until we beat them and we see dummy-spitting that puts Wolves fans to shame.

Personally, I detest the Villa and I won't be happy until someone sends the bulldozers in.  Arrogant, deluded bunch in general.

we are way overdue an away win against these smug arrogant divs, hopefully its this season.

I think for me the fact that we didn't play Villa often is partly why I hate them so much.

With the Villa fans I know, most of them are from the Black Country for a kick off, and only support Villa because they were the only midlands premier league team when they grew up. Most of them only go to the occational matches and think they know everything there is to know about football. They expect to be in the top six every year and if they don't turn teams like 'little West Brom' over they think it's the end of the world. They blame everyone else apart from themselves, they are cockey with no reason to be and if you ever pull them up on something they pull out the European Cup card.

People of my age still and always class you as our main rivals and the club we hate. Not the Dingles .It is and always will be you. I remember Tony Brown telling a story at a forum about when he signed for the Albion, he was told to sign for us he had to hate the Villa, the Dingles are just a distant neighbour who get on your nerves.

For me (50 next birthday) the Villa game will always the big one

Quote from: Turkish baggie
Villa have always attracted trophy hunters & when they don't do anything they stay away!
The villa WERE a big club but the last time they won anything Dick Turpin was the coach driver!

I work in West Brom, so we must win this one. I never used to bother with Albion, never bothered me at all. They were just any other another team.

As well as working and living in West Brom, I spend a fair bit of time in Halesowen, and the Black Country in general. They hate us, and to be honest I hate them now. The local boozer in Halesowen that I tend to watch Villa away games on foreign TV, has a big Villa clientel, but nearly equalled by Albion fans cheering when we lose, and on the wind up. What the hell they have to shout about, or make us envious of is beyond me! At least the blues are in Europe and have won a trophy since we have, so for the time being have a modicum of pride (although relegation negates it!)

Losing last year was the first time they have beaten us in a competitive game in my lifetime, so what the fuck have they got to shout about really?!

Sorry, they piss me off

2-0 Villa, Delph, Agbonlahor
