Also, did anyone else find todays Birmingham Mail slant on the managers comments about the defending at Citeh a bit disconcerting? They are basically saying the manager thought we were awful, but will 'cut last weekend's culprits some slack', because they were playing a strong team. What message does that send to the players? 'Don't worry lads, you can put your feet up this week as we are playing _________ (Insert: Manure, Arse, Yelsea or the red scousers where appropriate).'
Or perhaps thats the approach you have to take with a relegation scrap in mind.
Well I read it as "Yes we were defensively poor against Man City but they have been mostly very good so far this season so I won't be slagging them off for one bad match against a very good attacking team."
But each to their own (agenda).
Indeed. Do you think this kind of bashing will end before he's eventually sacked / resigns?
Our big derby this season!

It is not about an agenda. I didn't like it when DOL said something similar after we were demolished by Arsenal, or MON after the Chelsea 7-1 debacle.
I bet most people would appreciate being given a task by their manager, and then told 'Don't worry if you can't hit your target, as we don't really expect much from you'.
How many tickets have we sold for this one?
Bad feeling this will be 2-2 with a late Albion equaliser.
Bent and..........Ireland with our goals.
If the select-a-seat is anything to go by on os, should be a decent turn out.
AVFC
This is Villa. We draw. End of.

That's the way i read it as well.
There were about 5000 left a couple of days ago. I know this because I counted the unsold seat for each block on the seat finder thing. As Roy Castle said... Dedications what you need.... If you wanna be a record breakerrrr..... YEEEAAAAH.
Two free tickets for me in the middle Trinity courtesy of my cousin who works in the Villa's archiving Dept.

if you were that dedicated you'd be providing us with the exact number of seats available on the day that you counted with a date and time reference. I'm disappoint.

Is your cousin who I think she is?

A cursory glance at a few sections of the ticket map on the OS would suggest that there are many tickets remaining.
I reckon there is still at least 5K available.
