I'd be delighted (for myself - I'd be sorry for those of you with more commitment than I've got).

I hate what football's become, I live nowhere near VP, I can seldom muster the enthusiasm to go to London aways, I recognise that we're as bad - more or less - as all the other 'EPL' fucknuts, I hate the way that fans' loyalty is exploited until they bleed, I hate that football encourages rational adults to behave like passive-aggressive spoilt children of the worst stripe, and I find the whole thing - even the actual games - totally obnoxious and the very worse thing is that every tiny thing that we do helps to enrich that fucking satan Murdoch.

And yet I still can't help, despite it all, giving a shit.

I'd move to Spain and support Valencia.

I'm gonna have to agree with this.

Villa Ladies. Maybe someone has a new name for them.

They are doing well.

Leeds. My brother in laws team and Villa is his second team...which is nice

And I thought I was the only one on here to stick up for LUFC (my brother's and nephew's/nieces's team).

EDIT: Now edited to include the right quote. Duh.

Leyton Orient.

The girlfriends dad supports them and they are fairly local. I went to a game last season and am looking forward to going and watching them play against Sheffield Utd on Sat.

I haven't been to a Villa game all season. In fact the only game I've been to is Arsenal v Sunderland as I got a free ticket.

I can't afford the Premiership. Still love Villa but its just too much money. Mind you the Mighty o's are still 20 quid. But no need to pay much in travel and I will get a lunch for free at her parents.

It would be Villa-real, surely?

And Tim, couldn't you go back to supporting the baggies? :)

Leeds?

Thanks for spotting the deliberate mistake, Cheltenham Lion. Of course, I was failing miserably to quote this post:

Leeds. My brother in laws team and Villa is his second team...which is nice

Surely if Villa don't exist there won't be a reserve or youth team either?

Couldn't support another English side.  I like Bilbao and Barca, but both are pretty closed clubs, seeing as im not Basque or Catalan.

I think Barca's matchday fanbase is about as Catalan and Man United's is Mancunian. You'd be fine there.

Would have said Andover Town but they folded a couple of years ago, nearest league club is Reading and got no desire to see them, so probably just give up on football completely.
