Wouldn't go as far as to say I have a soft spot for any other club, but there are some clubs who I have less disdain for than others.

I'd include Sheffield Wednesday, Wolves and Forest in that lot, but- truth be told- I don't particularly care whether they win, lose or draw.

I might 'Go Continental' more often and attempt to get my fix at some of the grounds that still have standing areas- just for old times sake.   That big bastard of a stand in Dortmund being a particular favourite.

But I don't think it could make up for not having the Villa, I'd probably just spend my time there sobbing like a big baby, thinking about what might have been.

AJ Auxerre. Ground holds 17,500. Love 'em.

No Aston Villa? Wouldn't even look at a league table or results table. Corporate sponsors fuck off and die. I don't drive a Ford and I don't but use Gillette. Why not? Because you piss me off by being at the football you ******!

I'd be stuck on the choice between Peel and St.Georges, depending on which I could find the best internet stream on and who's balance sheets were available to view.

Newcastle Utd for me, not a popular choice, but I have connections up in Toonland and the place is great.

I would treat all organised football in Britain with the contempt it deserves. Aside from Villa I wouldn't miss it. I went to watch the Old Stars last Sunday at Dales Lane, which is where Rushall Olympic play. The regulars have to pay £7.50 to watch the Evo-Stik Premier or whatever it's called. I was astounded.

However, having lived in Sheffield for a while, I'm tempted to go to Bramall Lane and watch Sheffield United more frequently and think they'd become my team.

I'm going for the Steel City Derby on Sunday. I may never post again........

Having lived in Shef for a while myself, I'd go for the classy team with fans from the North(ish) of the city, history, great stadium, unique name ... (sound familiar?)

You'll be fine Sunday, most aggro I've seen has been on the day before around neutral areas (Crookes, Broomhill, Eccy Rd, West St)

I would not bother with football for a long time, then support my nearest non league team.

Good points Tez. Thing is, Blades are my local team and I can't be a glory hunter!

Shouldn't be too much trouble, pubs will certainly be shut though tonight could be interesting in one or two spots.

20min walk from Greystones is a nice treat, loved going down the cup game last season - skinful of beer after and still home quicker than the drive home. Must meet for a telly game soon.

If Villa ceased to exist tomorrow then i would gravitate to where my favourite Villa players go to, probably then take up an interest in there careers, so if Gabby were playing at Arsenal, I would take an interest generally in Arsenal, would I support them=No,  but I have to be honest I'm struggling this time out to be even interested in Villa...

Way to much finance in sport now for my liking particularly football.

It's called Flancare Park now (or the 'Flan Siro' by the diehards!)

I know, but I can't be doing with this corporate renaming of grounds. ;)

Arsenal. Because I liked their yellow kit as a 5 year old and it became my first kit ever owned. As such, I would just support them instead.

Not really fussed by football at all anymore though.

Probably start watching Hinckley or Barwell and go to Tigers for the first time since I was a teenager. I'd then wait until the powers that be realised that an uncompetitive league kills interest and a wage cap is introduced. I'd then probably end up at the (insert sponsor) Stadium in Leicester.
