Thought long and hard on this!
If not Villa, then no one
I`d be a sad old git sitting in the pub on Saturday afternoons drinking real ale and grumbling about how the modern game is shite, players wages killing the game and no loyalty anymore and droning on about the good old days

I'd quit football and never miss it. I don't even like football now, it's only because of Villa I pay attention.

Agreed. Me and a mate tried to be glory supporters for a week just for a laugh and I just couldn't bring myself to care. If Villa didn't exist, neither would football for me.

No Aston Villa = no football, I might watch the occasional match of the day but that's it. Could create a new club FC villa and make Beye clean the kits and boots

Worcester City. I reckon I'm not the only one who has got keener and keener on non-league in recent years.

Dr Um-be an Owl instead. A classier bunch.

As mentioned on the other thread, Nottingham Forest for me.

We hate Nottingham Forest...

Always shit on the reds side of the Trent...

I've just thought, I'd have to put up with that slightly camp east midlands accent they have over there if i went to any games. All that "duck" nonsense.

My already seriously jaded interest would completely evaporate if The Villa didn't exist.

Couldn't possibly bring myself to cheer for Man Ure or Man Citeh despite them both being the closest geographically and no interest in the Premier League apart from the Villa

Glasgow Rangers would probably be my choice as always had a soft spot for them and Droylsden in the Blue Square North as they're round the corner from the mother in laws!
