Nor me, to overbalance.

A mate of mine out in Bruges last night sent me photos of him with Adil Ray and Nathan Dawe in some bar. Supporters who happen to be celebrities.

I had to  look up the latter
I had to look up both, recognise Adil, no idea about the other bloke.

He was featured on the big screens a few years ago. Summit to do with choosing the pre-match / HT music I think.
I had to look him up as well

He’s quite big with the “youth”. He’s a really top bloke and Villa through and through. He has a really nice restaurant in Burton ( epic Sunday lunch, I work there occasionally. Extra bonus points for him, as he dropped my back in Monaco from Nice in his cab. Normally at games with his dad , who is also super nice.

Where did he drop the rest of you, and was it because one of your magic tricks went wrong?

Stretching the celeb definition a fair bit but got Hawskbee and Jacobs on currently and Howard Hodgson is on there plugging a book.

Can remember his name years back as one of the spokespeople for that Villa Fans Combined group that sprung up in 2003. Sure plenty on here have some tales of that time.

Funeral director who lives in Monte Carlo now....

Same. Seems to have been a known supporter for the last 4 years or so. TBH, I'm shit at spotting celebs anyway compared to other members of the family.

His family are Villa, so I think it’s longer than that.

Edit: ah, ‘known’. I see.

Is it his son promoting the book? I see him on twitter talking about it quite a lot. He’s Howard as well.

Before the VFC thing, there was speculation about him buying Ellis out. People would talk about his worth being around £70m which sounded super-rich at the time. Obviously it is, but wouldn’t get you far in football these days.

It was a good idea in principle at the time. The fans would stump up cash £2,000*x 10,000 and Hodgson's people would find the rest on the assumption the club could be bought for £40 million.

* it might have been £1,000 x 20,000 or £500 x 40,000 can't remember but as soon as fans forking out on top of a ST was mentioned it lost its appeal.

You’d have to look up to him as well as he’s easily 6 ft 4. He was stood behind us in the concourse  after the game and he is taller than I realised. We also saw him in the main square with Mark Albeighton
