Just imagine in the near future our next  king unveils villas latest new kit release during his coronation ceremony.

Now there's a challenge Mr Heck ✌️

There aren’t going to be any more Kings or coronations.

Sadly, I doubt that. Never underestimate the pathetic sycophancy of the British public.

I hope not, I've already bought the bunting.

I can see it now.
King William V for Villa processing down the aisle to the strains of Paranoid.

(Oops)

Instead of King William of Orange, can he be King William of Claret & Blue?

They died - quite a while back. Most of them. One got shot I think. Accidentally.

One got arrowed, but we will probably never know if it was "accidentally". It was certainly convenient that his successor happened to be in the country ready to claim the throne at the time.

He doesn’t have to keep his own name, either.
Prince Albert became George Vl.

William is great for a Villa reference anyway (McGregor) but he could also go for Paul, Brian, Peter, John/Jhon, Ollie, Graham…or Ty!

And the bloke that shot him was knighted. III's horse tripped over a molehill and IV died so the Victorians could have an age.
