I heard former Villa player and a current Sky Pundit Paul Merson is going to be doing BBC Strictly Come Dancing.

In this week's episode of 'Who Do You Think You Are?', Rose Ayling-Ellis discovered that her great-great-great-grandmother, Agnes Chilton, lived at William Street in Aston and ran the Sandy Hill Tavern and then the Aston Tavern.

When told by a local historian that Aston was the home of Aston Villa, Rose replied with a beaming smile: 'Aston Villa! My whole family supports Aston Villa!'

I feel old not knowing the name of someone well known enough to be on 'Who Do You think You Are?'.

Edit: And now i know why. Eastenders and Strictly Come Dancing are things I take zero notice of! Some impressive theatre though.

Not that surprising when she's Doug's granddaughter.

I watched the whole show and never heard Dougs name mentioned once?

Apologies, was just messin' with you. In hindsight, should just have said something like "not that surprising given her surname".

I'm looking forward to the new Tom Hanks movie where he's been de-aged.
The film takes place in a single room and tells the story of the different people who have lived there. Deep fake tech used to show Hanks much much younger

Won't see it on these shores till November /December but expect Hanks  to attend a game when he's over promoting and they'll be a big noise about this movie because of the tech used.

Here.

Doug invented dancing.

Based.

His invention of the overhead scissors kick was inspired by his knowledge of outrageous ballet moves.

So Dwight Yorke’s daughter then?

Don't you mean Ugo.
Or maybe Platt.
