OK, Left.
As long as his politics go the same way.

Or he buys me a pint with his pocket money! (Would that count as a tax rebate?)

Worth noting that once those of us at the match became aware he was present there were a few renditions of:-

This country is ours,
This country is ours,
Cameron's a Villa fan,
This country is ours.

And if that catches on I'll be seriously worried about who I'm mixing with at games.

Can we not just quietly ignore the embarrassment of having the current PM as a fan?

Thankfully I didn't see him yesterday, or hear that chant - around by us it was "who's the twat in the hat?", did Cameron have a hat on earlier?

As more people voted for the Tories at the last election than any other party I would imagine that there were more Tory voters than those for any other party in the away end yesterday.

Only if you assume football supporters are an accurate-ish representation of the country as a whole.

Not in Birmingham they didn't. Our city didn't return a single Tory MP.

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist responding, Chris! As the front four or five rows (of the away end) seemed to comprise quite a few Londoners - I suspect from London Lions Club - then I expect there would be a few Tories amongst them. By the way, as a down to earth Handsworth Woodian I am no fan of Cameron.

I wasn't one of them - only been to one Villa game since I lost me job in April.

Sticks in my throat seeing that twat grabbing a "man of the people" photo opportunity.

Dead right, if it suited him, as it did Thatcher, he'd bring the boot down on football fans without a minutes thought.

I think some people need to get a bit of perspective.
I havent seen the bit of the Aston Villla constitution where it says that you can only support The Villa if you are a fully paid up member of the Socialist Workers Party or the I have got a great big chip on my shoulder party.

true. i don't dislike Cameron because he's a Tory. hell there's been vaguely human ones now and then. I just think he's a retarded inbred knob and perhaps it will rub off on the general public and they'll think all villa fans are. Personally i'd think the same if Clegg or Millband were Villa fans

I don't think Cameron is a retarded inbred knob. I think like most people with his upbringing and education he's a supremely confident individual.
