Cannot believe that Ireland is being singled out for criticism by some.  How many attacking midfielders can do anything when their team can't get the ball?  Petrov and Delph have been far more anonymous so far.

We are very very dull to watch.  No wonder the QPR fans took the piss.

Delph and Petrov have been worse . Delph is worrying me . Get Gardner on instead .

This has sneaky smash and grab away win written all over it. 0-1. Albrighton 90. This is definitely going to happen.

I hope you're right.  Thing is though, if we do nick it, playing this way, will it just give McLeish some sort of justification in playing this shit football?

Did you want Lerner to fuck off in January or any previous month since he joined us?

Just when it became clear he didn't want to invest any more and he started selling off our best players without us actually replacing them.

This is the match thread, talk about the match.

Sorry mod?

I just don't feel like starting this conversation. The topic of ownership has no business being in this thread right now. I don't feel like punching my coffee table anymore, my fist is killing me.

I wish there was more to talk about. QPR, fully of confidence, haven't really pushed us that much. It's taken us 40 minutes to decide we can actually beat this rabble.

Hopefully we'll see a more confident Villa second half. At least our fans there are supporting us.

That's the point, they are set up for this, they are no great shakes whatsoever, but they can put together some ball play and they fancy this.

Is that a 'cut and paste' from every game you've posted on in the last 12 months? (winky)

I keep trying to convince myself that once we have sorted the defence and become hard to beat, we'll begin to be more progressive. I'm failing in that concept at the moment.  Dire.

I was never his biggest fan, but how much would we give for NRC at the moment?

Find it very annoying that a player that goes by the name of Luke Young is playing like a demon him and Bothroyd head and shoulders above everybody else and yet Young was discarded.

If we can get gabby involved in play more, we can win this. We've come into it in the last 10 minutes. But what a shite start to the game. Need to have a good start to the next half
Wilkins is right, were not playing football properly. Too much hoofing involved

It pisses me off to see players from opposite sides hugging each other, mates they maybe but you need to be ruthless and focused on matchday.
