We are due a loss in the league as much as a win so...

QPRs first home win of the season.
Our first league defeat of the season.

Or our first away win, because Loftus Road sure as shit aint Old fucking Trafford.

Bent and Heskey both out for Sunday. Jenas only 50-50.

Source twitter!

I think we have a problem with or without Bent & Heskey.

I fear we're heading for a defeat here - 2-0 QPR. Prove me wrong boys.

Who'd have thought this time last year we were 69% sure we're going to get beat and beaten well by QPR in a league game?

;) If I'd had said to you this time last year Alex Mcliesh will leave the noses and be managing us and we will pay millions for the privilege, you'd have had me banned, castrated and made me have gratuitous sex with Lady Gaga for 24 hours...

Actually just to add to this the sex with Lady Gaga, that wouldn't be so bad really. something strangely beguiling about that woman.

I can see another draw to prolong the unbeaten in the league but not winning games debate.

Same as my thoughts, retain our unbeaten run but will only score one goal and not be able to keep a clean sheet, probably QPR to score in injury time.

Petrov has to play or else Barton will kick the royal sh*t out of our center midfielders. I'd like to see Delph and Bannan along with him, with Jenas coming on late to prove his worth. I want to play a 4-4-2, none of this leave the top man to stumble around by his lonesome, nonsense. We have no possession in the final third because we don't have anyone up there to combine. The forwards need to work off of eachother, and together.

Hutton - Collins - Dunne - Warnock

Bannan - Petrov - Delph - N'Zgobia

     Gabby - Weimann/Delfounso

There is a good thread up on one of the QPR message boards, reading it the other night ( I will see if i can find it and put the link up), typical thing, Aston Villa next, some of the fans where saying, there hardest test yet, but it was amazing how many said No Fear, Villa are rubbish and some where saying I'd tip this lot under McLiesh (only they didn't use the word McLiesh) to go down.

I remember just a short while ago when even the top 4 dreaded us showing up in town.

so the same midfield that was destroyed in the last league game  :o

we do not have the players for 442

AM always seems to say the right things pre-game and almost had me feeling positive about this game...but then I see that Bent is definitely out and Petrov (who has arguably been our best player so far this season) is only 50-50 to play. With it being free to watch on Sky it has all the hallmarks of a very painful Sunday. The fact that I'd be content coming away with a draw against QPR says a lot about how bad things feel at the moment...oh, how much I'd love for AM and the team to prove me wrong.

i think you are having trouble distinguishing between the two if your earlier post is anything to go by. we didnt have a single centre forward stumble around by their lonesome nonsense last weekend. We had two of them doing that because our midfield was destroyed. Ergo its pretty clear really. 442 simply has to stop unless we want to add to McLeish's relegation record. If you take the midfield 4 that played last week, Bannan is a non entity without the ball, Nzogbia is pretty lazy aswell. With Petrov seemingly being given licence to roam, despite not having the pace to get back, it was only Delph who was able to defend the back four. With the likes of Hutton and Warnock in the side that is a recipe for disaster.

Thats without the ball, in the 442 last week when our defenders got the ball they had little options. Bannan tucked in a few times but Newcastle soon realised all they had to do was pressurise Petrov or Delph and they wouldnt look for the ball after that. An extra player in there would help matters and not necessarily be overly defensive. It seems incredibly obvious to me that we need a different formation, at half time against Newcastle a change to the formation was blatantly obvious. Alas McLeish seems completely lost to me already.
