I can only assume the days of GT2 or DOL have been forgotten very quickly

The sooner Lerner sells up and fucks off, the better.Presumably to one of the string of billionaires sitting there waiting to buy a football club. Then they can put in a fortune. Then as soon as something goes wrong you can say "He's shit. He's useless. He should sell up." And the cycle can start again.

"Why would would anybody else want to buy/manage Villa?". It wouldn't take much to be owned by somebody with more of a clue than Lerner, that'd be a start.

It's a bit childish of you to call something you disagree with a 'shit argument'.Randy has invested circa 270m into the club (£65m purchase, £90m loan notes, £115m equity). There aren't many chairmen in the country who can match that level of investment. There may be better chairmen out there but I think we could do a lot lot lot worse.
I dont think i've ever felt as low or as angry as i did after last season's FA Cup match at City. We've always had stinkers before but to actually not even bother with trying to win the cup - and lets face it, 90% of sides seem to do it these days - makes the whole point of football a complete waste of time no, just witness Assou-Ekoito's talk of finishing fourth over winning the Europa Cup. What would you rather do, finish fourth every year or win 4-5 trophies at the end of your career. My enthusiasm for football in general hasnt really recovered since that City game.
I don't get this "lowest point" thread. We sold two of our best players over the summer, yet despite this, AM has managed to keep things together and we sit higher in the league than at almost any point last season.Ok, so we've gone out of the mickey mouse cup....For me, you could pick almost any weekend of last season and describe it as a lower point than now. If we lose the next four games in a row, then things might be different, but right now, as things stand, I think AM has done rather well!
