I just think that some games scream difficulty, this is one for me regardless of who's playing, for Moyes this is Rally Round the flag boys, Rally round the Flag, or i think there will be changes at Everton, I know an Evertonian and they are seething about the club.

This will be a very tough game IMO.

The club and team I'd say were closest to ourselves in terms of recent years performance on the pitch and style of play.  A close game with the outcome being a draw.

Agree with the point and as you say very possibly a draw, I think Moyes will want this more and will want lore from his players.

However, hope i'm wrong.

Well hopefully Barry Bannan receiving his Man of the match champagne tonight for Scotland might make Mcleish realise he is worth a chance.

Third forum I've said this on, but Bannan has to start. He just has to.

I wonder if bannan can manage a game on Saturday after tonights efforts? I think I've read he tires easily.

He's very much knocking on the door for a start very soon. If bent's out it becomes an easier decision, possibly bumping heskey up a position, or perhaps gabby with bannan playing wide left

Even if he does tire, which I doubt he will tbh.. we've got cover for him on the bench. I wonder how Ireland must be feeling. First, Delph is heavily favored over him to open the season and now Bannan is in great form.

Dunne will do well to last the 90 mins at the weekend after his heroics in Moscow.

Petrov has played two game this week and might be best off the bench altogether.

Id start Ireland, got to give the lad a chance at some stage.

Got to disagree with sticking Bannan out wide, it would be a waste. He needs to be allowed to wander where he likes, he'd be a lot more effective.

Jenas would be more effective in a tough away game than Ireland.

He might be thinking he'll fuck off in January?  Which is what I think the club and AM secretly want!
