Only know of him from the often dubious mentions of his name on here but that is a very young age to go. Condolences to his family and friends.

Heartbreaking news.
I remember him from back in the day when we actually used to play the noses, he missed a penalty in a shootout at their place if I remember (preseason friendly probably)

44 years of age, is nothing these days and puts life into perspective.

Very sad news .I watched Bernie come up through the Youth and Reserve teams and the guy always gave everything he had to give. I spoke to him several times and he was a really nice guy.R I P Bernie.
