Not very impressive first half.  Moments of quality few and far between; the rest pretty ordinary.

I'd take Delph off-he's played well but that early booking may cost us
all in all a tight game
Bannan should come on the add some quality

Without Heskey the ball will just ping back though Risso, he is doing a good job in there. Bannan and Makoun for Petrov and Delph on 60 for me, with Albrighton for Heskey and Zog moving central later if no cigar.

Well that was fairly dull, looks like a few empty seats also. Need a player to open the game up perhaps Bannan or Ireland.

I'd like to see Makoun on for Delph.

Bring Bannan on if we're not creating around 60mins.

Positives: Petrov, Delph and Gabby look pretty sharp, and all the defence look comfortable on the ball, with each centre back making a few great passes.

Negatives: the defence look pretty worrying when they're run at, especially on the right (predictably). Also, I'm sorry, but Heskey does not do enough to justify how much his presence in that position alters our style of play, and sometimes his lack of vision and final ball is actively detrimental. Get Bannan or Ireland on.

We shouldn't be pinging the ball there in the first place. We have class in midfield, the ball shouldn't sail over their heads.

Very dull, but on a positive note I've put some towels in the wash and emptied the dishwasher.

Thanks Villa!

Very dull 1st Half, hopefully we'll see Bannan in the 2nd Half for Heskey.

Get Delph off for Makoun. He is going to get sent off. Heskey doing a good job. This is a battle and he is up there. No supply for Bent ........
