You would have thought if that was the case with Lansbury we’d have found this out before spending all that money on him. It couldn’t have been a secret.

Not playing, but I noticed that Savo Milosevic now manages Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia.

Didier Six is the current Guinea manager.

Tommy Elphick retires

He seemed the kind of character we needed at the time but if you are going to headbutt the Holte End goal posts you’ve got to be a lot better than he ever was

Meh…..

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has joined Pafos in the Cypriot First Division. No competitive goals yet but scored 7 in a single pre-season friendly game, a 9-0 victory against a Riga FC XI.

Has now scored 5 in 23 in the Cypriot First Division.

After 6 months at St. Mirren, Jake Doyle-Hayes signed a 2 year contract with Hibs in June and has started their first 2 league games. Seems to be doing okay for himself.

I’m hoping for a swift Barton exit and Glenn being named as player-manager

Hopefully it'll be better than his time at Hearts and that his missus takes to Brizzle. Didn't she engage in some argy-bargy with Villa fans on Twitter after we released her Glenn?

Andre Green doing the business.
Give him regular game time and stay fit he's good enough for the Prem in a few years to me
At Slovan Bratislava in Slovakia now
He scored a hat-trick  in cup.
Also and on his debut scored against Olympiacos in a Europa League qualifying game
Well played Greeny

Good man Andre. Always had a great attitude. The memory of that late header against Sheff Utd will live on.

Such a pity Andre did not make the breakthrough we all hoped he would.  When we saw him play in a front three with Ratboy and RHM in a pre season at Cambridge United, if you had been told that one of them within a few years was going to sell for £100 million your first guess would have been Andre and your second guess would have been Rushian.

He's always had ability and been hugely unlucky with injuries. Hopefully he has a good run now without any bad luck.

It will with me too.  I stormed out of the ground at 0-3 and listened to his header on the radio in the car!!!

Doh!
