3-1

Bent, Delph and N'Zogbia.

I'd go with...

                                       Given

Young              Collins                Dunne             Warnock

             Makoun             Petrov              Delph

                        Ireland               N'Zogbia

                                       Bent

But I dont think he will for one minute.
I do think he'll stress the importance of attacking from the kick off at home and we'll get at them.

I think Blackburn will struggle this season and I'd be disappointed in anything other than a convincing win.
I also think they'll be weighed down with poor quality chicken.

Blackburn always throw balls into the box. That side is simply to small.

it will be 4-4-2, exactly the team he played against Fulham, he might change Makoun and Delph, totaly uninspiring

With Heskey in we're encouraged to play long ball. Expecting him to flick on for someone else. That's not bents game picking up the flick ons. It's a waste of the talent we have in the rest of the squad too. I will not be happy at all with this style of play and will lose patients very quickly. setting up defensively away from home is one thing. Starting with the same line up as we did against fulham at villa park is something completely different.

But until the squad is announced tomorrow it's all speculative.

The same starting xi would be very functional and predictable. That might be enough to beat Blackburn but it wouldn't fill me with optimism. Surely we need a little more creativity and passing invention in the side?

I am sure he will start with Heskey. Really worried he is going to go for the "do not lose at any cost" approach. If Heskey starts hope he will play a 4-4-2 with Albrighton and Nzogbia wide ............

Given
Young Collins Dunne Warnock
Albrighton Makoun Petrov NZogbia
Ireland
Bent

The problem with this team is Ireland. How do we bring him into play if we have to feed the two wide men?

However this team  suggested by Maz  will work better for Ireland and  probably for us:

I'd go with...

                                       Given

Young              Collins                Dunne             Warnock

             Makoun             Petrov              Delph

                        Ireland               N'Zogbia

                                       Bent

But I dont think he will for one minute.

Yes I  can see how frightened Barca will be if they had to play Blackburn!

Heskey will be one of the first names down on the teamsheet
Really hope Ireland is nowhere near the squad, he is a cancer on our club

We'll win with a more attacking line-up.

Bent and N'Zogbia to score!

Short of sticking Delfouneso in for Given I don't think you could get a more attacking lineup than we had last week.

I'd say that we'd better be far better off with a more pragmatic lineup like Maz suggests above rather than just throwing every striker we own on the pitch at once.
