Not the best picture but to do with the Safe Standing.

No more brushed shins - bring back standing.

Something we included to get going now and again, not like bolton full 90mins, just like banging the back/windows.

I was in the North Stand and thought the drum was QPR fans. I think its great what Brigada1874 are trying to acheive in terms of generating some kind of atmosphere, but in my opinion  a drum(or any other instrument) is so small time it has no place at Villa Park.

I sit in the Upper Holte (planning on moving next season) and I never heard it. I totally agree with the rest of your post. No need for it at VP.

Some better snaps than the one above will be on our forums shortly.

We discussed the idea of a drum at lentgh for some time, personally i'm not a fan but there's only so much your fists can take digging the plastic panes at the side of the lower holte. I don't see an issue with the drum as long as it's used sparingly for chants such as "famous holte end" and similar, it's certainly not something that is going to be banged every second like that intolerable one at wigan.

To the perosn who mentioed the supporter consultation meetings- a couple of members have been along to one of these and the ideas put forward were all ones that we'd generally support. We will be in contact with the club regarding any larger displays we plan on doing this season.

Good luck.  You appear to be going about this the right way i.e. building slowly and demonstrating that you're serious and will be around a long time.  Once you've done that then I'd hope that the club will seriously engage with you.

Sounds stupid but make sure there are not too many idiots amongst you as the club will not back you if you're holding any anti mcleish/randy rubbish and rightly so.  Make your emphasis supporting the team.  I'm sure you realise this.

TBH there isn't a real necessity to move to relationship with the club on any further as long as the group are allowed to produce displays and get behind the team that's the only real cooperation needed.

The group are always behind the team you will not catch anyone booing or singing songs about the owners or management inside Villa park, If the group as whole were upset with the direction of the club you may see the group banner turned upside down, this is Ultras custom to show their dissatisfaction  with something involving their club.

I sit in the Upper Holte (pretty much front and centre-ish) and could hear it on Wednesday. As long as it's not persistent a la Bolton/Blackburn I think it's OK. I think it's brilliant what you're trying to do in terms of generating more atmosphere. Near me there's one guy who constantly shouts abuse at AMC. On Wednesday having been largely ignored by everyone he changed tack and tried an ironic 'Alex McCleish's claret and blue army'. Oh how we laughed. Wonder if it was DazzyG? Hearing the positive stuff from the Lower is a refreshing change

I think it's very positive what you're doing but and it's only a small but...making out you're Villa ultras or whatever is a bit naff to be honest.  Can't you just be Villa fans who want to voice their support for the team without any affiliation to some global non existent organization?

Keep up the good work though.
