Noticed a few signs warning about fines for standing in seated areas...may be police/stewards are under orders to clamp down on that.

Theese new?
Probably, think the head of safety said something about us, also the stewards said we 'had a complaint' oh well.

First time I've noticed them but they were posted on the stairs leading to the seats in the concourse areas in the Holte upper, so presumably they would be all around the ground. Your explanation for choosing L1 is perfectly reasonable so dont understand why anyone would complain if you're not obstructing anyone.

Well I hope you blokes can keep this going and influence the rest of the ground. This 'health n' safety' nonesense is turning grounds into libraries. In fact, as I have to watch on the tele and often flick between games-Villa Park seems the most quiet, least atmospheric of all. Hadn't used to be like that.
How is it that other grounds, Anfield etc turn a blind eye to standing in some areas and trust fans of the same team not to not be poking each others eyes out. And what a waste of Police resources: watching you lot inciting violence by singing about muppets!
Where has the humour, fun, being silly at the footy gone? Good luck.

I sit in the Lower Trinity behind the dugouts and saw them waving the flags last night but couldn't hear a thing they were singing.

Paid these guys a visit last night and very enjoyable it was.
People at a football match sing for the whole 90 mins.....shock horror.
I'll probably get a letter from the club in the next few days warning me as to my future behaviour and that attempting to create an atmosphere in a football ground is punishable under some ridiculous rule that says you will not enjoy yourself except in the prescribed manner.

Well done last night to the Brigada lads, non stop singing for 90 minutes and certainly cheered up my evening as I was able to be part of the atmos over in L1 and L2. What was the Specials song you were doing? Was pissing myself laughing at that one and the Barry Bannan muppets song as well. fair play to all the people who seemed to gravitate over to the spare spaces in L1 as they fancied a sing song as well. Me and my mate (Holte L2) joined in as well and had a good night, the old "we are the famous the famous holte end" bought a small lump to the throat as well. Only thing missing from your repertoire is some chants to get the atmos going. Can I recommend
can you hear ther upper sing no no
Also what about witton give us a song witton witton give us a song.
However message to the club, I realise that we get analysed by the local council for compliance to our ground licence but the over the top steward/police reaction to a few blokes standing up and singing last night was little short of pathetic,
best bit of the night though was a young lad who arrived 5 minutes late in L2 with his girlfriend and must have had seats down near the front. On seeing the brigada boys up the back he quickly dragged her off to sit in front of them and spent the whole night bouncing around singing his heart out while she sat there with the most bored expression on her face ever, Classic.
keep it up lads.

The acoustics at VP are terrible, dunno if it's anything to do with us having 4 stand alone stands.
I've sat in the trinity close to the Holte and couldnt hear it. In the North stand you can hardly hear the Holte

Nice one AV82EC, like you the famous holte end song put a lump in my throat, seeing the passion on everyones face was brilliant.
Yeah usual suspect, espicially where we are the acoustics are very bad.

We need to get the left side, the right side chants going again.
That will get the rest of the Holte joining in. As well as upper, upper give us a song!
