These are brill hanging over the Holte balcony. Being wielded by fans ala that Aberdeen  bloke they take on an unhealthy smack of Scouserdom.

Less is more.

Oh do cheer up you miserable sod.

Yep keep it up guys, we're in L2 and joined in with quite a few of your chants along with the noisy group behind us.  Lower rights going to be where its at this season people.

Ah, back to the heady days of Nutters Corner in the early 80s....

I thought it was Compost Corner?

You boys going to be in the same spot tomorrow night?

Was planning on dashing along just before kick-off and heading for Trinity Middle, but could be tempted to come and see quite how long you boys manage to keep going.

Any reason why you couldnt get a better location in the ground such as the back of L4 or L5?
I fully support what you're doing and would certainly join in but doubt I'd buy a ticket in L1 by choice.

Compost Corner was a cracker too, Nodge, though I did prefer the more sophisticated plot lines afforded by the phantom flan flinger. Nutters Corner was the part of the Holte frequented by Villa fans with an aversion to anybody from more than 10 miles away in the early 80s. Near the programme stall at the corner of the Witton Lane stand.

L1 we thought was the best - we're blocking no body, no coperate boxes etc. etc. also it's a section of around 60 seats, which like you said you wouldn't buy out of choice, which meens apart from us its normally empty, making it easy for people who want to join in, to get a ticket there. Should be good today UTV!

Fair enough. Hopefully you'll be able to move more central as it grows.

I was sat just above you in K2. Why were the police lined up in front of you in the 2nd half or were they just admiring the flags? lol

Decided to treat myself to a lazy seat in Middle Trinity this evening, but had a reasonably good view of you guys. Fair play to you, a lot of pretty audible noise coming from your section.

Like KRS, I noticed the coppers, but assumed that they're obliged to keep a closer eye on you because of the standing, even if you have been in a bit of contact with Nicola Keye.

The only obvious danger I can see is you becoming a victim of your own success / others trying to use you guys as justification for standing elsewhere. It's why I think the standing in seated areas thing is VERY tricky and unless Villa went for dispensation for a specific area like the Lower North, I think sooner or later, you'll find yourself subject to more stringent stewarding / policing.

Until that day comes, keep enjoying yourselves and keep enjoying the 'view'? Can you actually see the whole pitch from where you are? Even when the flags aren't up?

Nice one mate, yeah there was a row of coppers watching us, most likely the standing. Had a bit more trouble from the stewards this time, regarding the 'poles' on the two sticks, something has changed from Saturday apparently but yeah were still in contact with Nicola Keye.

Can indeed see the whole pitch mate, when the flags are high enough!
