Was that Heskey who just played the ball to Warnock that opened Fulham up?

Bannan or Ireland could both do that, and presumably not be as irrelevant or rubbish as Heskey has for the rest of the game.

So it was, but as usual, he gets no praise when he does something decent. Had that been Zog or Delph playing that ball people would have been wanking themselves over it.

I think I'd be inclined to put Makoun on rather than Ireland, but definitely take Heskey off.

We've not played too badly in patches this game, but you can see from a mile off that our problem this season is going to be getting the ball to Darren Bent, and if we don't do that, we're not going to be doing a lot of scoring.

Hopefully noone will learn how to do it until the transfer window shuts.

The good things he does are far, far outweighed by his ineffectiveness for the rest of the game, though.
