We're playing quite well
the formation is working ok
Fulham don't look like the home team at stages
if we can get the forward players into their box more in the second half we should win this

i still think it will be a draw though

Well, that wasn't too bad at all! I think we just about shaded the half, to be honest, and there's been some good performances too - Delph is the standout so far, but Agbolahor (idiotic booking aside) has looked good too.

Heskey is a waste of fekkin' space, though; we might as well switch him out for Ireland, put him behind Bent and play N'Zogbia and Agbonlahor out on the wings.

It all looks a bit threadbare really. We've shaded it in the sense that much of the play has been in Fulham's half, but we look a bit desperate at the back and could easily have conceded.

Makoun for Gabby, go 4-3-3

Not bad, Delph has looked good. Stupid booking for Gabby.

I do think that Petrov - in his unfussy way - has also played well in the middle (as far as the poor streaming has allowed me to judge it).

I agree with this. It's like under MON. The gap between midfield and attack is massive, and we just end up banging it to the wings and lobbing in crosses, which Senderos and Hangeland are fine with. We've got them turning and running, which Heskey just never will.

Starting to see the player Delph can be. Can break up play, comfortable in possession and can pick a pass. Agree with others that Haskey should be off and bring Ireland on for a bit more creativity

I'd worry about there wings to much to turning it into 4-3-3. Agree Gabby maybe for Albrighton we don't want to be down to 10 men!

Not seen enough to form a solid opinion, but we do need to lock down that defence a bit more. Apart from that we look ok if a bit shaky.

4-5-1/4-3-3 though. Get Heskey out of there and replace him with a footballer.

Looks solid at the moment, look dodgy at the back right side, Gabby is up for it, couldn't give a crap about his booking lets see some spirit, he's up for this and a lot of the danger we pose is coming left side through Gabby, we should milk that.

Bent looks like he needs to get a bit more involved, but we are doing OK, good to see gabby giving some stick, get in there mate, rip em up.

McLeish has gone with a horses for courses philosophy here. Ensure we at least get protection on the goal first and foremost and for the most part we've not been really troubled. Maybe as the game goes on we'll change things up a bit and bring on a Bazza or Albrighton or Ireland for Stan or Heskey. I'll take a point from what is always a tricky fixture right now, but with Bent up top we can always nick one.

Actually the substitution I'd make now would be Clark for Heskey, push N,Z and GA toward Bent more and tighten the central midfield.
Look for someone a little more creative later on.
