I personally would like to thank Brad for making the effort in saying a few words that supporters respect. In between training, looking for a new home etc. he didn't in a million years have to do this but I for one believe it makes one hell of a difference to how supporters might treat you afterwards. A lot of players are treated as almost god like figures, especially with the youngsters and a few words of thanks isn't really all that hard to do.

Top Bloke  ;)

Well summed up

Good luck Bradders. I highly recommend his book by the way. He seems like a very intelligent individual.

Fair play to him, a very nice touch that he didn't have to say, and something that not many players seem to do.

What an absolute top bloke, glad to have had him for the years we did.

Lets hope that Given's just as good on and off the pitch.

Great bloke and goalkeeper, shame we didn't have Brad when he is about 29ish.

None of this crap from Dwight Yorke and Stuart Downing.

Class act. He was a great signing and was, still is, one of the best keepers in the Prem. He'll take some replacing, but thankfully in Given we've got someone capable. Not just in terms of quality, but in terms of also being a positive influence and role model on the younger players. Good luck Brad. Top bloke.

Nice bloke but frankly I hope he's picking the ball out of the net on an extremely frequent basis.

They don't, but it's so easy to do and has made us feel warm and fuzzy. You would have thought, for their 10%, agents would throw in a bit of basic PR.

Really? A very good player no doubt, but a better signing than Young or Milner?
