My AVTV picture has been absolutely perfect all the way....its just the twat on commentary.

Have you got a high Meg broadband? Ive only got 2Meg, so i'm assuming this hasn't helped me.

Was going to say my feed was 101% all the way through, but I do have 30mb broadband.

Brilliant feed from AVTV today. Sorry some of you lot have had issues. My sound experience is fucked because Woodknob is commentating.

Bet Jack's staying in a motel where the workers take the piss out of him in Portugese...

that car is pretty much like most of Lisbon. Decaying and covered in graffiti.

Ireland's little cameo was very encouraging.

As long as there were no injuries that's all that matters.

Hopefully we'll be ready for next week.

It will be nice if we can get a couple more players in before the end of the window.

Just watched the last 10 minutes... at times Braga were holding onto the ball easily, but we still pressed, once we got possesion of the ball we passed it around nicely, at times we probably just need to show a bit more intent going forward. Ireland got himself into some good positions and he looked comfortable on the ball. Makoun's V02 Max must be off the charts... didn't get to see N'Swag's goal, any good?

A good enough showing that, for a friendly. That defence is starting to have a look of its old self about it, which is promising. N'Zogbia did quite well and looked lively, while Makoun was, once again, a cut above the rest.

Now at the end there (and I know it was in the 90th minute of a friendly and all that), there was a little glimpse of Ireland's ability. He was darting about, calling for the ball, then moving it around very quickly, positively and accurately. That all took place in the space of about two minutes, to be fair, but a tantalising glimpse anyway.

General good game. Gabby looked better. Makoun running things. Defence in control and Clarke very comfortable. Zoggy steady but hungry. Time to go on the lash .........

Didn't see it either but eastie said it was a low shot in close range.

Overall, looking good. I suspect AM has the touch of MON in him, which is probably why the defence is behaving themselves now.

I hope the Petrov/Makoun partnership isn't long term. Too alike and Makoun is the better player.

cross from the right that Bent knocked down to Zog on the right of the 6yd box. Zog first time left foot into the bottom right corner. Not a rocket but efficient enough.

1-1 Percy. They were the better team, and had more possession, but we didn't do badly. The defence had a lot of set piece practice and look a hundred times better defending them than last season.

Did Gabby play alongside Bent or in the hole?

And what do you think about Heskey on the wing? Bit of a waste?

Absolutely. An extremely dull game on our part, very few ideas, no width, constant back passes, a return to hoofing and no pace, only livened up by the introduction of Bannan and Ireland who seem to be on the same wave length. Why Heskey, I have no idea. Time to say goodbye to Petrov and Heskey.

Unless something changes it's going to be a very long, dull season.
