my tip for a worse season than expected goes to Liverpool,
i think/hope it could all come falling down on Dalglish's head, dont like his buys, but will admit he has a strong forward line in Carrol and the other argie fella.

his midfield is weak, especially with an ageing and injury prone Gerrard, his defense is crap, worse than ours even,
and if they think Downing is the man to launch them into the top 4, then they are dreaming.
i dont reckon they will be much better than us if at all

dont think they will make the top 4, and will struggle [again] to even make europa.

anyway here's to hopeing

I reckon Villa will win the League Cup.  I feel it in my water.

I hope you're right. Would love us to get our hands on some silverware. Fifteen years is too long for a club our size!

HAs anyoen got the link for last seasons predictions thread? Quite wish to see how horrible mine were!

Here you go

I don't think you made any predictions last year. Not unless there was more than one predictions thread which seems quite likely.

JJ committed the heinous crime of changing his username at one point so maybe he did make a prediction.

My username was changed but I think it was before this time last year. No prediction in there though, was sure I made one.

Ah well.

1.Manure
2.Chelsea
3.Arsenal
4.Citeh
5th-6th 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' & Spurs
7th-8th The Mighty Claret And Blue Gods & Evertone.
9th-11th Stoke, Sunderland & Fulham.
12-20th Take your pick.

Anyone who actually thinks before the season starts that we will finish lower than 8th is either far too negative or mental. Can anyone seriously try and make a credible case for swapping our squad with any of the also rans?
