Have we ever played celtic?
A friendly in 85-86 I think.

home or away - I don't remember anything about it.
Away I'm sure.
I remember seeing some pictures from the game in a programe a few years ago. I'm sure it was a draw.
If I can dig out the programme I'll post up the details.

We played Celtic away pre-season around 1985-6 and lost 1-0.

I am a bit of a fundamentalist but I only really think we have played these teams if they were  competitive games, or games v teams we would not normally expect to compete against ie from another continent, like Santos.  As a nipper I lost all belief and interest in friendlies when we were in Division 2 and managed to beat Feyenoord 7-1 in 1974 I think, a few weeks before they won the UEFA Cup.
