The weekend after Villa beat Olbiun via a pass back by Brendan Batson to Lord Withe I was in the Greyhound in Stourbridge and in walks Mr B. Two of us engaged him in conversation generally. Bought him a drink and suggested a toast. "To the best pass Peter Withe had all season". He realised who we were then but laughed about it and bought us couple afterwards so a good night.

Have bumped in Ally Brown and a couple of other Olbiun oldies and they were very prickly when I mentioned the Villa.

It's a shame you didn't bump into Ally Brown with the same force that he bumped into Alex Cropley, shattering his leg in the process.

I went out with a bird a few years ago from Sheffield and she was a "retired lapdancer" *coughs*

needless to say she had gone out with Bowyer whilst he was at Leeds and that he was hung like an hamster

Needless to say?

Is it common knowledge that Bowyer went out with all the lapdancers in Yorkshire?

Brilliant post.

Ally Brown was on the Asda car park Brierley Hill behind a tape barrier at the time. There were two "helpers" with him as they expected a row with Wolves fans!

I was there when he crocked the mighty wee Alex so didn't really say anything to him as I was too emotional (true!)

Yeah, Bobby Charlton comes across as a twat.

A couple of people i have spoken to reckon Ray Houghton is a complete arsehole.

My dad was ill in hospital a few years back. I bumped into Sir Graham and he was more than happy to have a chat with my dad over the phone. Top bloke.

Bryan Small. Funny as you like.

Paul Tait once threatened me. Told me he could have brought his mates down and given me a good going over. I'll keep the rest to myself. :-)

I used to live on the isle of dogs in east London. My neighbor at the time went to school with bowyer and said that he'd always been a nasty bit of work. Told a story of bowyer and his mates pissed up racially abusing the staff and smashing up a McDonalds restaurant at Aspen way

Is that Ashley sat by himself behind Rooney? You think they'd have buddied the new boy up with someone, poor lamb. I wonder if he's not going to make any friends at his new school.

He doesn't need friends, he has a web cam.

The dad of a colleague of mine is a member of the same Essex golf club as Houghton and they both reckon he is a really top bloke - down to earth, funny and reasonably generoous too.

A lad I work with was in the year above him at school. He's mixed race, says he knew him through mates and he was a decent lad all in all.
