I've got a good one second hand. A mate who lives in Newcastle was one player short for a game of five a side. They saw tino asprilla on the way to the sports centre and persuaded him to play. Apparently he was very very good but not unbelievable.

They also later played with john beresford. Although it may have been warren Barton I guess!

Robbie Keane broke through as a 17 year old at wolves. My mates saw him in a club, reported to the bouncers he was under age, and got him thrown out

I've seen Devlin jogging around Walmley on occasions so he still lives locally.

Love that merson story at Windsor. From memory Walsall actually lost that cup game!
