No vote you are right but I am a customer and that means more in 2011 than being a voter or so i thought.

At the risk of getting banned (and I respect everything you do on this site and for H&V generally) but that is a totally ridiculous comment. Cameron is the leader of a mainstream political party and our Prime Minister, his party won the most votes (what was it 11 million?) and his government represents 60% of the votes won at the last election. You really think he's the same as that scum Griffin who represents a bunch of racist scum?
That lump Sir Digby Jones is a Villa fan. Talks "common sense", pity it is always about some poor buggers losing their job/pension/employment rights etc so theat industry can flourish. Git.
I think some overestimate the publics perception of politics in this country, we all know how it affects our lives, but so what. Most people reckon that we'll be taxed somewhere between x and y and the cost of living will be somewhere between a and b. And generally speaking we will be in a war somewhere. That will generally be the scenario. And all these important things to discuss and debate, and you know what, one episode of Corrie or Eastenders will smash all the viewing figures for the combined total for every political programme in a week.

Well said sir.The root of the problem is that most people (and include myself in that) don't fully understand the minutia of economic theory or the global politics that over-arch everything else.
