Bet there will be bigger crowds to watch Take That than we will attract playing Big Ecks style of football next season.

Well done.

You win this thread's "Let's make every single fucking thread yet another tedious rant at Villa, McLeish and the board" award.

Congratulations.

As it's been established that the capacity is bigger than for football matches, and the gigs are both sold out, you might well be right.

I just can't beleive we are letting them soil our stadium with their 'music'.

I thought O'Neill's team's endless cycle of aimless balls whipped in from the wings was the least entertaining thing to be seen at Villa Park, but I imagine this evening is even worse.

I can think of one very good reason.

Twitter does have its uses for those who are curious what Villa Park looks like right about now:  pics

I wonder will Robbie mention the last time (or perhaps first time) he was at Villa Park, when we twatted his beloved Vale.

I went to the concert (it doesn't qualify as a gig) tonight with the missus.  I was intrigued to go to a concert at VP as I didn't have the opportunity or the inclination to attend the Rod Stewart one.

I'm not sure how much was down to the Villa and how much was the Take That organisation but it was all handled pretty impressively.  It's awesome to see so many people in VP and I hope they do more events like that, hopefully with bands I actually want to see in the future!
