The pitch will be a fuckin quagmire again by October.

It'll be covered and/or it'll get relaid straight after.  I've got a feeling the club relay the pitch every summer anyway.

Girl I work with has asked about car parking (she's travelling from Oxfordshire).  I've suggested by the Barton Arms or the City Centre and then go by train.  Any other ideas?

Yes they will. They have "standing seats" and "drink hawkers". Why can't I have "standing seats" and "drink hawkers" when I go to Villa Park?

How much do you reckon these concerts are worth to the Villa and why haven't we staged any others since Mr Blobby was number one for Christmas (and indeed since Take That's original zenith)?

The set up for it is amazing - there must have been 40 artic lorries in the car park and 100-150 guys working on stage and rigging etc.
The pitch has been taken up and is fully boarded
The planning is superb and to be fair the Villa are very good at this sort of thing

I remember Rod Stewart - i was in the tunnel when he got into a flight case and was wheeled out to the round stage. Belinda Carlisle was goegeous close up and very sweaty
Have also done Duran Duran, Springsteen, and Billy Graham (that was an experience)

I have some pictures on my phone of the stage being built if someone can show me how to put them on here  :-[

My sister has three tickets for tomorrow night as she now can't attend. Looking to sell them at face value. If anyone is interested let me know.

Thank you

Bet there will be bigger crowds to watch Take That than we will attract playing Big Ecks style of football next season.

Yes, because we aren't allowed to stand on the pitch when there is a football match on so I guess you will be right.

Correct we wont be allowed to stand on the pitch while there is a game being played but the whole North Stand won't be closed either.
