Its annoying that I'm currently just a few miles from where this is going on (I'm sat in Dulles Airport) and yet I can't find a TV to watch Rory.

Also, apparently there were a shortage of places where radio stations could set up their outside broadcast. I visited a mate at the ESPN980 here in DC and they were planning to just stay in the studio and commentate off a TV screen.

Hopefully when I arrive in LHR tomorrow morning I'll learn that he's won.

that sucks mate

Congrats to Rory. Destroyed the field. A new king has risen.

I got to give a mention to Sergio too. Great to see him back out there competing at the highest level. He's done really well this week.

Jason Day is getting better and better too.

Well done Rory. Superb performance, especially considering what he went through last major.

Agreed - I was also glad to see he ignored the tricolour that was thrown at him as he was heading to the presentation ceremony.  He's not Irish.

Wonderful effort from Rory.  To be that much better over 4 days than a lot of outstanding players is truly remarkable.

Its definitely going to be interesting to see how Rory handles this now.  He's gone overnight from prodigious talent to  international superstar.  The media are gonna intrude into his life like no ones business and people will expect this every time he walks onto a golf course.

FWIW I believe with his supreme confidence and second to none talent, he'll thrive.
