Anybody else completely blown away by how utterly out of this world Rory Mcllroy is?

Wait until he chokes in the final round.

Wait until he chokes in the final round.

He'll probably be about 12 shots ahead by that stage.

He's just broken the record for the under par score at any stage of a US open.

I truly believe, that even at the height of his greatness, Tiger Woods has never played better golf than Rory has played in these two rounds.

To compare it to another sport is he going to be a Hendry and win loads, an O'Sullivan who wins his fair share but should win more or a Jimmy White who fails to live up to his potential when it comes to The Majors.

I'd say somewhere in between a Hendry and a Sullivan.

There are so many great golfers at the moment, but I can see Rory winning about 10 majors in his career.

I'm fairly new to golf... but they seem to have finished a lot earlier than yesterday. Do they go round twice today... if so what time's Rory likely to be back on?

I hope he has a good round tonight and has a cushion of say 4 or 5 shots going in to Sunday. Good look to the lad.

My bets of Big Phil, KJ and Bubba are rubbish.

It's something like 28". The norm is around 34 to 35".

Rory will hopefully romp to victory tonight, although a small part of me would like him to have a 6-5-6 start and blow it open again.

Its annoying that I'm currently just a few miles from where this is going on (I'm sat in Dulles Airport) and yet I can't find a TV to watch Rory.

Also, apparently there were a shortage of places where radio stations could set up their outside broadcast. I visited a mate at the ESPN980 here in DC and they were planning to just stay in the studio and commentate off a TV screen.

Hopefully when I arrive in LHR tomorrow morning I'll learn that he's won.
