According to most on here, O'Neill "jumping ship" was a positive.

I think you'll struggle to find anyone who thinks that MON bailing five days before the start of the season was a positive.

I renewed mine ages ago. I can't pretend to be giddy with excitement at the new season mind.

I know of 2 long term St Holders that are now reconsidering after yesterdays developments.

Has the Board advised on where sales are at the moment compared to last year?

Big fat no, from me. Selling our best player every close season was bad enough, but now we are selling our two best players. New signings simply will not reach their level quickly.

just the fact that you not going to see Downing running out in a Villa shirt next season is a good enough reason to renew

Even if it means seeing players like Ireland and Warnock on the pitch who couldn't even give a greater shit than Downing?

I've renewed again and can't wait for the season to start. Regardless of what is happening or has happened I absolutely love that walk up to Villa Park on match days and can't wait to get that feelin' again!

I've only ever sat in the North stand once and I had to learn how to walk again afterwards, was it designed by and for midgets?

I am not a ST because I live in Spain but in response to the OP, I will be making just as many trips back to watch the Villa this season as I would normally.  I try to get to around 12 games a season or so and I would hope that people who are able to go to games will do so, the lads need us more than ever.

If people are really considering it and having doubts about renewing, having doubts in the first place already tells you not to bother.

I honestly wouldn't waste a lot of money where you won't be getting any value for money.
