I renewed the first day I was able to, I had a bonus from work that would've been frittered away otherwise.  I still would've renewed whoever was manager but if the football next season is as bad as the worst case scenario suggests then I think I'll struggle for 2012/13.  I'll give it a fair chance first and decide at the time.

I already have renewed, I renewed weeks ago, If I had not renewed yet I would......and I will next year!!!

McLeish was not the man I wanted (Moyes if your interested)! But he is here now! I would not allow 1 man, or any number of men for that matter, stop me going to see the Villa! It's in my blood!! I will be there till I'm carried off in my Claret & Blue box, and then........Holtender in the Sky!!!

Just my opinion, for those who are interested!!!

I renewed some time ago and still would have done despite the depressing news from Villa Park. Like many of you, I didn't want him and have grave concerns about how it's all going to work out, but this is my club and I'm not going to stop supporting or attending because of a poor appointment. Perhaps it'll be like the Graham Turner, Billy McNeill or (even worse) Tommy Cummings era - we survived all of those and enjoyed success once again after they'd gone.  And - who knows? - it may actually turn out to be a reasonable appointment: not an inspired one, but one that will enable us to make a slight improvement on last season. As I've said, I didn't want him, I still don't want him, but if he's to be the manager of Aston Villa I cannot wish him to fail.

I renewed weeks ago. Who the manager is had nothing to do with the decision as far as I was concerned. The same goes for who the players are.

All that mattered was that I had the time, money and retained an interest in watching Villa.

I suppose I'm going to be accused of not being a proper Villa fan, but my thoughts at the moment are not to renew mine and my lads season tickets.
I've had mine for over 30 years, I've seen the lows of relegation to the Third Division to the highs of Rotterdam, from Tommy Doc, to Billy McBingo, but I've never been this disenchanted with Villa.
The Proud history, bright future strapline seems a million light years ago to me, as we seem to be settling back into comfortable mediocrity with an appointment like FlippinEck McUseless.
I will always love my club from the heart but this is testing my resolve, going on holiday next week so I'll see how I feel after that.
I will have missed my renewal date.

Oh stop being so bloody melodramatic.

Renewed a week after the season ended and happy too.  Can't stand the thought of not attending Villa Park every other week.

Best of luck Alex, you will need it !!!!

I feel for you Oscar.
You should post that in the Generals thread.

He'll ignore it and spout some more bollocks anyway. I wouldn't bother. It's a shame mate, there will be a fair few that won't renew I feel and the "walk up" factor that we have relied on means that that could significantly drop too

Lower Holte last 2 years for 3 of us but haven't renewed yet as keep looking for 3 together in back of Lower Tier Of Doug Ellis or Trinity as old man has dodgy knee for lots of steps and sitting/standing up /down all through game...if cant find 3 together suitable, wont renew

How can you renew regardless how you feel about the club I am a die hard fan 34 years now in total. If you can sit there and cheer him your not a fan but if you renew and give him hell well done. For gods sake he has come from small heath does that not mean anything? For the past four seasons we have give him hell at the Villa now we are supposed to applaud him? Like hell we should.
Congratulations, a contender for the most stupid post of the week award.

Now that's really some accolade.

I didn't renew last season whilst MON was still here as the home form had become dull and predictable and I stupidly thought Europe would mean a lot of sunday games which I hate.

When Houllier came I thought I might get a half season ticket but as our form went downhill i didnt bother.

When he left I imaginedIi would get one again this coming season but now I wont. However I will go to a few games and give AM and the team my full support. Who knows we may even be good!! I will than get a half season ticket.

This may well make me a fickle fan!!

Renewed this morning. Extremely disappointed about how the club have gone about their business recently and feel they need a footballing man on the board because they are clueless when it comes to managers.

I'll be willing the team to prove me wrong all season.

I have got bad knees, which is a pain at away games particularly. However, the Middle Trinity is only a short climb if you get in the bit towards the front. Judging by the amount who are not renewing, you will have the pick of any seats you want. To coin a phrase: 'speak to Nicky Keye'.

I posted last night and said i wouldnt after 16 years!

Speaking to a few mates who i go with tonight and they arent either. Thats 4 of us not renewing. Why pay to help fund the £2m compensation to the Blues.

I dont think they realise what this will do to our club.I have lost all faith in Mr Lerner and the board. £10m in fees to managers over 9 months!!

Cant believe that all that they have done for this club has been blown out of the water by one misguided decision.

We are the laughing stock of the league and are probably at the lowest point in our Premiership History!

How many of our squad will be handing in transfer requests now? First Mcleish signing James Mcfadden!
