The worst football in the league including Stoke (They play defensively to then take advantage of their 'spell' of pressure but do try to win). He didnt ever try to win games on a regular basis, just shut up shop and hope for the best.

- 38 the year before.
- Least shots this season and least shots on target.
- Most long balls played in the league.
- 2 relegations in 3 seasons.

I like him as a man but his record and style of football speak volumes.

It's a good demonstration of how you can't really go by these intenet polls as a fair reflection of opinion.

I'd bet if I interviewed 100 Villa supporters on the street, about 99 would say no.

I'm just surprised there are 17 knuckledraggers that can read.

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they support Blues. I voted 'yes'. Not because I particularly want him but on the basis he might be appointed and the press would use the poll result as the basis of a "Villa in Crisis" story.

I agree with that. I think we can do better. Unfortunately all the names mentioned recently suggest we can't. He has achieved more than Grayson, Martinez, Coyle and McLaren.
