I think its premier league rules that stop him from taking a job for a month. Our options are getting less by the day though.

Was it not his contractual situation - ie he was essentially under a months notice. Now they have filled that job, then surely Hughes becomes available.

If he is, he should only be appointed if the only alternative is Schteve.

We weren't in London when we acquired one of the biggest draws in the game five years ago, either.

The best managers take time to get. Jol was free and an easy appointment to make. If it was a case of offering the job to the first available manager we'd have a new boss by now.
