He did drive the snakes out and we do need a few miracles..perhaps he could get Augustine and Cuthbert on the wings?

Although he has filled Villa Park in the past the prospect of what the tabloid headline writers would do with a Villa game ending with us scoring twice and the opposition doing the same has me reaching for the Stanley blades.

I would be slightly let down if we got Steve McLaren although I would support him his appointment wouldn't fill me with optimism.

For me this would be a major let down. All the other candidates discussed form Ancelotti to Martinez have some merit as the mixture of fors and againsts show over the last few days. But McLaren leaves me totally cold and deflated! Please no.
