Why St Patrick, he could be great. Is it because he's Welsh ?

Brian's afraid that he'd only play the 3-3-3 formation. On the plus side he'd be able to convert all the small heathens into true believers i.e. Villa fans, thus boosting our attendances.

He did drive the snakes out and we do need a few miracles..perhaps he could get Augustine and Cuthbert on the wings?

St Andrew no chance.. neither Patroclus, Paris or Hector.

Some really well qualified people for the crown listed on here but I must see your Caligula's horse and raise you

Dr Desmond Tutu

Although he has filled Villa Park in the past the prospect of what the tabloid headline writers would do with a Villa game ending with us scoring twice and the opposition doing the same has me reaching for the Stanley blades.

McLaren.

I also fear hearing the words - "That Graham Turner is doing quite well with Shrewsbury, I wonder what he could do at a big club".

I would be slightly let down if we got Steve McLaren although I would support him his appointment wouldn't fill me with optimism.

For me this would be a major let down. All the other candidates discussed form Ancelotti to Martinez have some merit as the mixture of fors and againsts show over the last few days. But McLaren leaves me totally cold and deflated! Please no.

Bryan Robson. I think i'd cry during the whole season, if he lasted that long.
