If Friedel had gone to the likes of Albion or one of the promoted sides I wouldn't have been surprised, but Spurs on a two-year contract?  I know that Gomes probably chucks in half-a-dozen or so a season, but Brad has this last year been showing signs of age.  I can't see him extending his consecutive appearance record much further.

It was time to go but Im amazed Spurs have gone for him.
Then again, their #1 is a laughing stock.

he was a fantastic keeper and a great servant to the club, however, he is in the very final stretches of his career, and father time has already overtaken him and is accellerating away...

I can't help feeling that the bankruptcy of his Saaaaccccccer academy in the USA played a part in it.

term of phrase...

i dont think he has overly let us down during his time here, although it was clear he was on a downward spiral in terms of his age catching him up for a while now...

Of course. Poor bloke needs the money. I hope he gets a good reception on his return to Villa Park. He deserves it.

I honestly think playing regularly is the only thing keeping him at the top of his game, if he's gone to warm spurs' bench then I think he'll get worse quicker than we think.

Surely it depends on who our manager is?

Thanks, Brad.

Hello Paul.
We will not be signing anyone until the new manager is in place. I think we have learnt from the Ireland nightmare.

I would love Robinson or Foster.

Word is that it's Green.
