Just want to mention that the defensive mistake for the goal was Dunne's not Warnock.

Absolutely.  Dunne looks fatter, slower and poorer than anything we saw last season from him.

The midfield generally seems to be wandering around aimlessly but then they are up against a very good midfield.  The Fonz is proving he's not a left winger, just like Gabby isn't - it'll be good to see the Zog there.  Gabby looks decent up front and Given pulled off one good save and one spectacular save in the build up to their goal.

dunne looks much slimmer and better than last season from what ive seen this week.

Dunne is definitely not fatter.

The 'pace' he showed in giving up a 10 yard head start on Anelka for their goal would suggest he is.  But then the way he was simply shrugged off the ball would suggest he's the same weight as Marc Albrighton.

I reckon Given is going to save us quite a few points this season.

I reckon he's watching in black and white and is looking at John Terry.

We look really sluggish, like we have worn ourselves out training in high humidity all week. (surprisingly)

Absolutely atrocious first half performance.

Cos we're losing (narrowly) to one of the best teams in the World?

lacking in creativity and toothless up front , poor 1st half in all honesty and chelsea well worth the lead.

Looks like we're struggling, but got to remember it's a friendly and more about improving conditioning. Hopefully this tough conditions will aid our conditioning for England.

Delfouneso's crossing is wank.

Wow chill, it's only a pre season friendly.  Imagine what you'll be like if he does that against Fulham.

Annoying isn't it?
