are we expecting a few 2nd half changes as in the last game ? makoun and bent would probably be the first id expect.

im sure you could draw up some kind of chart or graph to suffice villadawg.

A Venn diagram of eastie's posts...

Does that suffice?

Of course, we're always going to be second best to Chelsea, but without Bent we're utterly toothless up front. Let's hope his knock isn't too bad and that he comes on in the second half, because he's our only real chance of scoring.

Delfouneso's crossing is wank.

Just want to mention that the defensive mistake for the goal was Dunne's not Warnock.

Absolutely.  Dunne looks fatter, slower and poorer than anything we saw last season from him.

The midfield generally seems to be wandering around aimlessly but then they are up against a very good midfield.  The Fonz is proving he's not a left winger, just like Gabby isn't - it'll be good to see the Zog there.  Gabby looks decent up front and Given pulled off one good save and one spectacular save in the build up to their goal.

I said the other day, watching the Blackburn match, that I wasn't really too sure about what Delfouneso's game was about. This game, it seems to me that he looks a lot more comfortable on the left of a front three than as a striker. Maybe that's the best place for him to learn his trade?

Dunne is definitely not fatter.

Oh and Sky's build up was an embarrassment - I was genuinely convinced I'd been subscribed to Chelsea TV without realising it!

I agree, Dunne looks in much better shape than he did last season!
