I think we should call in the Kaiser to sort them out. (Franz B of Bayern Munich)

Chuck Blazer deserves all the credit for exposing them from within. I hope Blatter resigns in his 5.00PM statement. I would go for Blazer as interim  with Franz Backenbauer or Michel Platini as long term replacements.

I'm watching Blatter's press conference; complete and utter farce. He told us more about the settlement between Randy and MON than he did about the current scandals facing FIFA.

How many times did he use the phrase "football family"?

If he does stand down, with his communication skills, he'd be perfect to replace Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf, the former Iraqi Minister of Information.

"Crisis, what is a crisis? Football is not in a crisis. We are not in a crisis, only in some difficulties."

It was comical. He really thinks he's the head of the mafia.

He's a ******. For what it's worth, so is Jack Warner.

I must admit I do love how Jack Warner is now the hero of the UK press.

He missed some important words like "I resign" and "I will not stand for Presidency"  oh and "FiFA is corrupt to the core" other than that his press conference was OK!

I'm getting a whole new feeling about playing Fifa, particularly when I know the game's cheating.

This is Blatter what Hitler did in the Night of the Long Knives.  The board daren't vote against him for sake of losing their places.  Stitch up.

I thought it was the 'best' worst press conference I've seen for a long time.
