Was very impressed by mclarens press conference at forest and the way he spoke about his plans for their future, academy etc - in fact I think had he been interviewed then he probably would have got the job, he seems to have learnt a lot since the England era, and I think I judged him harshly as many others may have done.

Too late - we're stuck with this clown now

McClaren now looks a Supercoach compared to what we are going to end up with.

Watchin McLaren at his press conference we have dodged a bullit. Still a comedy figure. Talking to the press like he is still in Holland.

I just wish they'd come out and announce it and put us out of our misery.

McClaren's broken english interview was ridiculous.

So it wasn;t just me that thought he was still speaking with a faux-Dutch accent, then?! Very strange. And although I know it's daft to make this sort of judgement, but he comes across as pretty bloody arrogant to me. Not that it probably matters.

McClaren's broken english interview was ridiculous.

What he said was good and made a lot of sense  but the way he said it in a weird kind of broken English was very strange.

I blame all this on Houllier!!  I seem to remember he kept going on about how close they were and he invited him to watch him coach when he was at Lyon.  He must have advised the bored to keep fecking us up!
