Just on his backroom staff, will we have to sort out compensation for them too?
Probably, but we'll get change from the fiver. :)

Or randy maybe can no longer compete at the financial level of man city and chelsea and has to cut his cloth accordingly ?

Cutting his cloth is understandable, but we've gone from Armani suits to beige polyester from George at Asda.

It would have been possible to cut back on the wage bill without hiring an inept Manager.

blame the recession.

I could blame the £10m + they've shelled out to Houllier and O'Neill in compensation.

Where did you hear that?

I have never felt so low as a Villa fan since we went down.

Nah - this is worse.   We are at a crossroads and had/have a choice to progress.

blame the recession.

I can't remember now, what did we blame it on when we went through a similar investment/ambition cycle during the period 1997-2002?

And when Robert Johnson was at the crossroads he signed a pact with the devil.
Have we done the same?

What do his backroom staff actually do, apart from scream at the players.

'Behind the ball, behind the fucking ball, get back, get back, defend.'
