I seem to remember when Mr Lerner took over, there was talk that if he couldn't achieve his lofty ambitions, he would sell up and give somebody else a go.

Got anyone lined up yet Randy?

We can but hope.  What a sad way for things to end up.

I hope so.

And that hurts me.

I was hoping we would make an appointment soon. I'm not now. Please let there be more candidates.

If RL invests a bit of money and we buy a few good players early on then who knows, may breed a small amount of positivity back into the club.  Attracting those players may be a touch more difficult though, and the availability of the money must also be in question.

A mate who sits next to me in the Holte text me earlier on today and said he was warming to the idea of McCleish, and i sat there thinking about it over a cuppa and i'll be honest, i started to think, well it might not be that bad really, it could be an inspired appointment.

I've thought about it more since then and i keep coming back the the same conclusion, that it just dose'nt make any bloody sense.

I'll support the club but fuck am I spending a penny on the Villa. Dull football, overpaid shitheads and tacky merchandise.

I'm not entirely sure Randy and the General will be spending any time on any fansites until about a month after the decision is made. Has he been on the General Krulak thread lately?

The board are crossing decent managers off the list just because they have NEVER managed in the Premiership.

We as fans must do all we can to make the board understand that managers dont neccessary have to be Premiership Experianced to manage the club.

Some of the greatest managers in the Premiership came without the Premiership Experiance tag.

Its seriously holding back our search for a decent manager..

Well this is all a bit shite isn't it? Christ on a bike. I don't think I've felt this depressed about football in a long while, I might have to go and do something else instead for a bit.

I can't blame the Villa for what's happened to me since Friday but McLeish is going to have to win some bloody Trophies to win my trust.

On Friday I came off my scooter in the rain, I suffered a few cuts and woke up on Saturday feeling like I'd....well fell off a scooter. Today I'm in Traffic and someone runs in to the back of my car, no damage but I might have to visit the Doctors due to a 7 hour headache. When I reverse to leave where I finally get to, I fail to notice a lamppost that's been chopped in half by the council, it wipes out the front wing of my car.

The first estimate is £700. I've been Driving a Scooter for 10 years and a car for almost 3 and 3 out of my total of 4 accidents have happened in the last 5 days.

This situation needs to be sorted out or I'm going to kill someone.

You know how when we were watching last season and it was completely obvious to all but the coaching staff that Gabby and Ashley needed their positions swapped because Gabby was ineffective on the wing and Young was less effective through the middle...well, that blindness appears to be catching since our owners obviously can't see the drivel McLeish used to serve up over the other side of the city. I'll say this, nice and clear, to any representative of the club that happens to be reading - WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? IT WON'T WORK. IT'S OBVIOUS. WE DON'T HATE HIM BECAUSE HE'S A BLUENOSE, BUT BECAUSE HIS FOOTBALL IS RUBBISH. HE HAS OVERSEEN TWO RELEGATIONS IN THREE AND A HALF YEARS. HE CANNOT MANAGE AT THIS LEVEL. GET ANYBODY ELSE IN. GET A MANAGER FROM A DIVISION BELOW HIM IF YOU MUST, BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DON'T GIVE HIM THE JOB, BECAUSE IT WILL END IN UTTER, ABJECT, HUMILIATING FAILURE.

Its RL, GK and AM's fault.  In that order.
