So Talksport are trolling their audience.

In other news, there are reports of Bears defecating in wooded areas and the Vatican have released a statement confirming that the holy father is going to remain a catholic.

Welcome to Aston villa Alex - I wish you all the best , you will need it!
Spot on. Time for us Villa fans to get behind our manager. Otherwise we are giving fuckwit journos a story.

You can bet your bottom dollar that McLeish knows how we feel and will work night and day to prove the doubters wrong. With a stable board I think he will do well. In terms of pots, his record is comparable with O'Neill's.

Just saw on Midlands Today that some people are going to protest against appointing McLeish. How small time does that make us look? The board know we don't want him - every message board is overwhelmingly against him and apparently there's a 10000 strong petition on Facebook. A protest will make us even more of a laughing stock than we currently are.

Wonder if they'll get as many as the (now infamous) unofficial small heath city center parade?

Unfortunately, TalkSport were spot on with Martinez turning us down last week.

I don't think we're being trolled, I think a scary bit of reality will bite us on the ass tomorrow :(

Talksport also announced that Bob Bradley was to be our new manager after reading an article on some obscure US blog.

The Martinez thing wasn't that hard to get right considering it happened a week before it was announced and was carefully stage managed by the shrewd Wheelan

Happy 29th Birthday to me tomorrow. Full Moon, and Alex McLeish. My wife called it on Friday when I told her the first rumour - said it is a full moon next wed on your birthday, it will happen then.

Randy et al need to back him to the hilt to give him any chance.

It's true :(

Fucking shocking. How can the board do this? Do they even realise what they're doing?

Wow, if it happens it will show a huge disregard for the wishes of the supporters. Fans are the lifeblood of the club and choosing such an unpopular manager would be very disrespectful.

Personally I won't hold it against anyone that protests or stays away from the games, it's a free country. I think there is only one man in the world they could conceiveably appoint to cause this reaction and they will have to deal with the consequences if they appoint him.
