Lets assume it is his FB page, did anyone actually see the post on there or just a supposed C&P of what was posted there?

I have read that the post has been removed from the relevant Facebook account now.

I wonder if he's just got in pissed and posted a load of bollocks. I used to do it regular when I could afford it.

People have to start thinking that if McLeish will be eventually appointed, then all this noise will just make his job more difficult. Stop moaning about the manager, stop creating fb pages and get behind the team and the players. You are just hurting the team. People should say something about letting Barry, Milner and Young away in consecutive year, that's a big issue. McLeish is a proven manager, imagine how many likes would a fb page had "we dont want Grayson/Poyet/Coyle" McLeish is a much more proven manager than all these.

Proven in what way?

- Achieved everything a manager can in Scottish football.
- Scottish football hall of fame
- City had there best seasons in the past half century with him.
- League Cup winner

Christ, why people keep ignoring these achievements?

Because he has taken a team down twice.  The 2nd time with a team that really should not have been relegated judging by their league position with 10 odd games to play.  Plus his had Birmingham City playing dire football during his time in charge there.  Ok, he won a League Cup this year but he had a massive amount of luck throughout all the rounds.

It is reported on Sky that we backed out of the McClaren interview due to fan power is this true or did they make it up?
I know it was rumored we were interested but were we really, did the club actually release a statement?
Or again is this just speculation?

It's all speculation, Ian. The only thing we know for certain is that we wanted to talk to Martinez but he declined to meet us. The rest is a mixture of rumour, guesswork and complete bullshit.
