Has it not dawned on anyone yet that the Steve McLaren interview was cancelled because he was nailed on to go to Forest? Either that, or Villa were not interested in him and therefore had no contact because they knew he was Forest bound?

As for McLeish. I'll believe it when I see it. If it's true that we're still after David Moyes, we need to get at it, very quickly.

There is nothing other than press speculation about McClaren's interview being cancelled because of fan pressure, the General denied that the club would bow to such pressure. In fact the only thing we know is that Martinez declined to be interviewed & we only know that because Whelan blabbed.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS PURE SPECULATION OR BULLSHIT.

2 accounts on FB lads, Charles Krulak (privacy settings all on, the General in his uniform) and Chuck Krulak, hardly any privacy settings on and the General in a Viking Hat making a 5-1 sign.

Now, perhaps he has 2 accounts but it certainly looks potentially suspect.

mebbe the chuck account is his "pissed up on lager" account. Does it say when he jonied because if its a while back its probably very unlikely to be a wind-up.

Or it could be anyones account and they just changed the name.

I thought that initially, particularly with the choice of picture.

But the friends list does contain family members, US military types and most of them seem to be located across the pond.

Not to mention a few people on here like Fergal.

I thought last summer McLeish was a left-field candidate to replace for MON given his record, defensive and organisational abilities. What I saw of SHA for a lot of last season though, even given the fact he was working with a small budget and for unreliable owners, was a tedious team to watch who when the crunch came were shipping goals too. The second 0-0 on the trot at VP and the ground would be half empty, and those there would only be turning up to give him abuse. It would be a huge leap of faith for fans to make, given that last season was mostly a disorganised mess. And McLeish would arrive after it looks like those in charge have made another pig's ear again of an appointment - this time with time and better candidates at their disposal and no excuses of MON leaving the club in the lurch. If we want solid but unspectacular experience, I'd rather have Walter bloody Smith.

There is still to be any proof that the post existed, regardless of whether it is his profile or not.

I've seen FB profile pages for lots of "famous" people over the years, doesn't mean I know what's on their walls. Likewise, I could mock something up, claim it was written by Celeb X and provide a link to their actual FB page as "proof".

It'd be good going to knock up something that realistic.  Still, we'll see I guess.

Hopefully tomorrow's set of rumours will be less thoroughly depressing.

Someone should just ask him if he uses that Facebook account.

Would imagine McLeish's record in England is pretty much the same as Avram Grants??

Hells bells....

Assuming it was a mock up, it was very good, but there are plenty of people out there able to do that kind of thing. Sadly, i'm not one of them.

On that profile theres members of both the Krulak and Lerner family. One particular, "Max Lerner" - a child, looks like he is in Randys box as he had it decorated in the same style as the trinity suites.
